Guys can anyone shed some light on this please. I have recently bought an LSA Mark III lean Enfield with a J prefix but it also has the letter A before the serial number.

So is it a J or A ? (I am new to Lee enfields !)

What year would this be please

Hi
I have a new slot on my FAC for a .303 with a plan to fill it this year 😁 I have various other modern rifles but the Lee Enfield is a new one for me.

Roughly what price should I be looking at for a decent quality rifle ? I am off to the shooting show this month for a look around as well.

  Hi James, you may already have one by now but if not have a look on MFL classics website, I bought a No4 mk1* in 2020 for £450, the barrel is like new and it shoots really well, Steve who owns the shop also does gunsmithing on lee Enfields so what ever he sells is checked over and in good working order before it leaves his shop.
