Franchi Horizon .243 Full Review.

With essential though unmistakable lines, Horizon Black Synt is the firstborn in the Franchi family of single repeating hunting rifles, with 3 or 4-round removable magazine and fluted bolt.

At the dawn of the new Franchi horizon, Horizon Black Synt is the benchmark version of all hunting rifles in the Horizon family. Horizon Black Synt is now available with a detachable 3 or 4 round magazine. The strong lines of the Black Synt are enhanced by the distinctive design of the fluted bolt with Dependa Bolt 3-fin locking system, which allows 60° opening and access to the rifle’s action – thanks to a streamlined conical bolt handle – for rapid rearming even with large scope tubes in place. The fluted bolt a specific shape which, as well as making it aesthetically appealing, allows smooth rearming even in the event of ice.

Light and easy to handle, it is particularly suited for selection hunting for ungulate game, both while in search and during lookout towers stakeouts, thanks to the ease of shouldering guaranteed by the butt constructed with an exclusive Franchi design.

The gun stock has already preset profiles on the stock and forearm for strap handles – supplied – and for bipod mounting. Available in calibers .223 REM, .243 WIN, .270 WIN, .308 WIN, .30-06 SPRG,  6.5 Creedmoor and .300 WIN MAG presents the Relia Trigger trigger group, light and sensitive, between 0.8 and 1.9 kg and calibrated by means of the adjustment screw. The barrel, constructed from cold rotohammered chromium molybdenum steel, maintains maximum firing accuracy shot after shot. Horizon Black Synt also has the certificate of 1 MOA out of three shots fired.
