FX Impact M4 Unveiled! What’s Different?

The new FX Impact M4 has been unveiled and to be honest, we kinda knew it was coming sooner or later!

So what’s so different about the M4? Well, the rear end is slightly different with a larger opening to get at the pellet probe and the magazines have been made from a better polymer with a better mech that will be able to cope with heavy slugs that are loaded into it with hopefully no jams plus they are higher capacity-

The plenum is bigger and now has a 750cc capacity rather than the 720cc that the M3 has. The pistol grip has been redesigned and is fatter with a more ergonomically shaped grip.

The M4 now has a dovetail rail incorporated into the, what I would call a back bone. This adds rigidity to the rifle but not only that, the top picatinney rail can actually slide along it giving the user loads of adjustment when positioning an optic.

The cheek piece has not been changed but I’d be interested to see whether it is a bit more ambidextrous for us lefties! FX have fitted what they are calling their new QST or Quick Set Trigger. It gives the user three different settings that can be adjusted externally rather than having to strip the rifle down.

Guts wise, FX have included a brass piston AMP MK2 regulator that provides faster refresh rates, increased consistency, and the ability to handle higher bottle pressures up to 250 bar. This regulator is essential for achieving consistent power output and accuracy, even with the highest-calibre slugs.

The M4 represents the pinnacle of airgun technology and performance. Its combination of advanced features, enhanced durability, and superior accuracy makes it a top choice for serious shooters and competitive marksmen. Whether you’re aiming for precision in long-range shooting or seeking the best in airgun performance, the FX Impact M4 Sniper is engineered to deliver exceptional results and I have had great results with my M3. I must admit, I’m certainly liking the look of the Copper edition!
