• Hey all,

Back after a long 12 year break from serious air gunning, although I have been able to carry on growing my co2 pistol and rifle collection during this time I’ve not spent a great deal of time behind a properly accurate rifle for a while. That all changed last week at my local RFD/range where I took my trusty Theoben Fenman, and also rented a Walther RM8 Varmint.

Needless to say I’ve got the new gun itch now, and liked the RM8 so much I’m going to be grabbing one in the not too distant future as my first PCP (historically all my 12ft/lbs guns have been either gas ram or springers).

Something’s telling me however to hold off a little longer and try to get my hands on a BSA R-10th if at all possible, which seems like a perfect idea in theory but in reality whatever I buy is only going to be used at a maximum of 25m either indoors or 40m outdoors for target work. My question is, am I going to notice that extra £500ish worth of quality the BSA would afford me in theory both on paper and in terms of build.

You guys are gonna be better informed at this than me so if you’ve got any thoughts chime in!

      Cheers,

      Jay
