The range I shoot at is 600 yard. But I would like to say I can shoot a 1000.
It’s going on a Tikka Tac A1 in 6.5 Creedmoor.-
I run a Vortex Viper HS-T 6-24×50 SFP on my Remington 700 and comfortably shoot out to 600 & 1000m with it at Bisley. I think I paid about £600 for it & it does what I need. With a budget out too £1500 you could look at the IOR Operator 6-25×50 or for £1000 Vortex Viper PST Gen II at £1000. I looked at the last two when looking at scopes for my 300 Win Mag

Thanks for that. The Viper PST was first on my list. At the shooting show next weekend I was hoping to check a few out.

No problem, plus with the Vortex you get the lifetime warranty as well

I have the PST 2 on my tac a1 .308 works great for me. I think its in a good sweetspot for cost/quality. you could always try and find a secondhand razor HD though that would be potentially in budget at the top end which would be all the scope you would ever need for those distances
