Given the increase in bot activity overs the last 3 weeks, I’ve been forced to implement more complicated login methods – such as the Google reCAPTCHA. You’ll notice this on all registration, login and comment forms.

I’ve always tried to avoid doing forcing this, but as a few of you spotted over the weekend – a few bots who do manage to register cause havoc to members of this community through sending private messages and generally spammy posts.
