• Hi guys was just wondering if anyone could help me with some info I’m looking at getting into the sport but was just curious on a few things?

First of I was wondering if theres any limit on the amount of firearms you can own at any one point, and wheres a good place to start for a complete beginner other than some air rifles not shot anything else! Any help would be great thanks?

First thing I would suggest is to get full membership to a Home Office approved club and decide what shooting disciplines you would like to take up before submitting your firearms application. Once you have your membership and know what firearms you would like to buy you can submit your application. It will be down to the discretion of your FEO as to the amount of firearms they will allow you to have. Their decision will be based on a number of things like your home security and justification for owning each firearm but at the end of the day if you can safely secure them and can justify each one and don’t get too carried away then there shouldn’t be an issue.
If you want to get into full bore shooting you will also need to complete a course to get your Safe Shooters Card.
Good luck with it and enjoy the sport 😊
